Registration, skippers meetings, actually getting into Curacao… all part of the pre race ‘show’. Last night the Cabarete crew spent some late hours at the airport. It appears the immigration really want local Curacao competitors to win.

This morning everybody arrived at Sea Aquarium Beach with their equipment. There’s almost nothing better than to see a beach full of rigged surf equipment.

But most importantly: the wind predictions for today were off because the wind is really picking up! Stay tuned for the afternoon slalom race reports and pictures.
