With wind speeds around 17 knots the conditions on the Curacao ocean where pretty nice. A packed beach with spectators watched some close races. Curacao home turf proved decisive on the first day for the Open Class.

The day started with some trouble with the buoys when some lines where cut by a passing boat. The organization reacted swiftly and the delay was only 2 hours.

4 races where completed by the different classes making it a good 4 hours of first day racing. Tomorrow more slalom and of course the long distance downwind race from the event location to Marriott Beach resort.

The results will go up on the website soon. Check out the pics!
